Preparing for your appointment

Do not consume caffeine, aspirin, Vitamin E, ibuprofen and/or alcohol 24 hours before your appointment as this may thin your blood and cause unnecessary bleeding.

Exfoliate the area that will be tattooed the night before your appointment to help prep the skin. This will help removed dead skin layer and achieve pigment implantation.
No waxing, plucking or laser electrolysis one week prior to procedure.
Avoid brow tinting 1 month before your appointment.

For Lip Blush procedure:
If you are prone to cold sores, or carry HSV-1, it is highly recommended that you visit your doctor to receive an anti-viral medication to help prevent a breakout.
No guests or children allowed during your appointment.
Eyebrows: Please arrive to your appointment with your eyebrows drawn in how you typically wear them. We will remove any makeup on the brows before getting started.

Eyeliner: Please do NOT wear your eyeliner makeup to your appointment.

If you plan to go on vacation, it is recommended to plan your trip a minimum of 10 days after the procedure due to aftercare maintenance.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Your new brows will appear very dark and thick for the first week. Please DO NOT panic, it is normal.
Redness and swelling (Tightness and/or swelling should dissipate within 24-48 hours) Especially for LIP BLUSH procedure.
By day 3-6 your area of tattoo may begin to scab and flake. This is also normal. DO NOT pick at the scabs; allow them to fall off on their own.
An urge to scratch but please avoid scratching.
Color may appear darker in some areas.
Once this phase has completed, it is common that your area of tattoo will go through a "ghosting phase" and may appear lighter due to your skin's regeneration. This is normal for a tattoo, however, the color will re-surface around the 5-6-week mark. At this time, the true color will be evident and allow for a clear judgement on what needs to be done at the recommended touch up session.
Healed results will vary with each individual and using a pencil or powder makeup may still be needed.
